What is Accounting ?

Accounting is the process of recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions to provide useful information for decision-making. It involves tracking income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity of individuals, businesses, or organizations. Accounting helps stakeholders, such as managers, investors, and regulatory bodies, understand the financial position and performance of an entity. There are various branches of accounting, including financial accounting (focused on external reporting), managerial accounting (focused on internal decision-making), and tax accounting (focused on tax compliance).

लेखा-जोखा (Accounting) एक तरीका है, जिससे हम किसी भी संगठन या व्यक्ति के पैसे और खर्च को गिनते और दर्ज करते हैं। इसका मकसद यह होता है कि हम जान सकें कि पैसे कहां से आ रहे हैं और कहां जा रहे हैं। इसे करने से हम यह समझ सकते हैं कि कोई संस्था मुनाफा कमा रही है या नुकसान, और हमें कितने पैसे बाकी हैं। इसे आसान शब्दों में कहें तो, लेखा-जोखा पैसों का हिसाब रखने की प्रक्रिया है।
